Privacy Policy

Simplee Digital Marketing Inc. ("Simplee Digital", "we") runs simplee.digital. This policy explains what personal information the site collects, why, who it is shared with, how long it is kept, and the choices you have.
What we collect
When you book a strategy call (/book):
- Your name, work email, company, and website (optional).
- The services you are interested in, your budget range, and when you want to start.
- The page you came from and the campaign tags in the link (for example utm_source).
When you enter the monthly giveaway:
- Your name and email.
- Your company and website, if you add them.
When you use the contact form:
- Your name, email, company, and your message.
When you use one of our free tools (calculators and checkers):
- We record that the tool was used and on which page.
- We do not record what you type into it, and nothing ties the use to you unless you also submit a form.
When you browse the site:
- Google Analytics 4 collects usage data: pages viewed, time on page, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address, and the referring site. It sets cookies or similar identifiers. It loads only after you interact with the page (a click, tap, key press or scroll), and a line in the site footer says so. We do not use the Meta Pixel or other advertising trackers on this site.
We do not collect payment information on this site, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Why we use it
- To answer you. We reply to your inquiry, arrange and prepare for your call, and run the giveaway (including telling you if you won).
- To decide how we can help. We review your company and website to understand your needs before the call. Software in our Command Center (below) helps us summarize public information about your company and prioritize inquiries. A person at Simplee Digital reviews this work; it is not used to make any decision with legal or similar effect about you.
- To follow up, within the law.
- A booking or contact inquiry gives us implied consent under CASL to email you about our services for 6 months from your latest inquiry.
- Entering the giveaway does not, on its own, give us consent to send you marketing; we contact you only about the giveaway.
- Every marketing email has a working unsubscribe link, and we honour it.
- To improve the site. We use analytics to see which pages and campaigns work.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site and our business, under contracts that limit their use of it:

The Command Center. It is our internal customer relationship system. Form submissions from this site go straight into it, and only Simplee Digital staff can sign in to it.
Where it is stored
Our database and some providers are in the United States: Railway hosts in the US West region, and Google, Calendly and Anthropic process data in the US. Information stored outside Canada is subject to the laws of that country, and authorities there may be able to access it.
How long we keep it
- Inquiries (booking and contact): we keep them while there is an active conversation or business relationship, and for 24 months after the last contact, then delete them or make them anonymous.
- Giveaway entries: kept until the monthly draw closes and the winner is notified, then deleted, unless you also made an inquiry.
- Unsubscribe requests: your email and the request are kept indefinitely, so we never email you again.
- Analytics data: follows the retention settings in Google Analytics (14 months).
Your choices and rights
- You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, withdraw your consent, or ask us to delete it, subject to legal limits.
- To make a request, use the contact form and choose "Privacy request", or write to us at the address below. We reply within 30 days.
- You can unsubscribe from any marketing email with the link in it.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser and opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out tool. The site works without them.
- If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Security
- Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
- Only staff who need it can access the Command Center.
- Each part of our system can reach only the data it needs.
- No system is perfectly secure. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify you and the Privacy Commissioner as the law requires.
